I AM BACK!!

Greetings everybody!

I have officially finished my freshman year of college (technically back in mid-May, but I just got around to writing this post now). Regardless, I am extremely excited for this summer break! As much as I would love to be active on my blog during school, it is difficult to juggle my studies, personal life, and this blog at the same time. So unfortunately I have neglected uploading content here, but I hope to change that shortly!

I aim to post book reviews and any other bookish content I come up with. If you would like me to post anything specific (i.e. a book review for a particular book or a topic I could discuss on my “Let’s Talk” post) please please please let me know! I love hearing from you guys and feedback is very much appreciated!

Thank you so much for reading this and for following my blog. I appreciate your patience with me; it truly means the world to me!

Bout of Books 15

I am so excited to participate in the Bout of Books read-a-thon!

Below you can find more information on this event:

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 15 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

This is my first time officially participating (though I heard about this in the past) and I love how “low-pressure” the event is, as stated above. I love read-a-thons because they help motiviate me to read as much as I can within a specific time frame. And since school starts in a few weeks, I plan on reading as many books as I can squeeze in before then.

Goals

  • Read every day
  • Share my progess on Twitter
  • Read two books

Books

I posted a picture of my TBR pile for January on Instagram, but I always struggle to commit to monthly TBR piles, so I will simply read whichever books speak to me

Some books I have in mind are:

  • The House by Christina Lauren (currently reading)
  • These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Will you be participating? If so, let me know what your goals are/which books you plan on reading, or leave me a link to your post below.
